At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev reported that the volume of foreign direct investment worldwide has decreased by 11%. Nevertheless, according to him, Kyrgyzstan is demonstrating positive dynamics, and in 2024, the growth of foreign direct investment has already exceeded 1 billion soms, which is a 22% increase compared to the previous period.

“In the first nine months of 2025, the volume of investments reached 885 million dollars, which corresponds to an 18.5% growth. The country is actively engaged in bilateral development funds with countries such as Russia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Hungary, which have financed more than 4,000 projects,” Kasymaliev added.
