During a joint meeting of the committees of the Jogorku Kenesh, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, announced that the consolidated budget of Kyrgyzstan in 2025 will exceed 1 trillion soms, thus setting a new record.
According to preliminary estimates, the budget volume will amount to 1 trillion 93 billion soms, which is the result of effective fiscal and economic policy.
“Initially, we planned to achieve such indicators by 2027-2028, but we managed to do it much earlier,” he noted. According to him, state resources reached 997.7 billion soms, which is 367.5 billion soms higher than the planned values.
The resources of the republican budget amounted to 939 billion soms, which is 353.9 billion soms more than originally planned. This means that the republican budget constitutes 85.9% of the total consolidated budget.
The revenues of the republican budget amounted to 605.5 billion soms, exceeding the planned figures by 175.3 billion soms. Of this amount, 262.2 billion soms came from value-added tax, which is 28.1 billion soms more than the approved budget, and 152.2 billion soms are revenues from customs duties, which is 21.8 billion soms higher than the planned indicators,” the chairman added.
