Head of the Cabinet: This year, an additional approximately 18 billion soms has been allocated for salary increases

This year, about 18 billion soms have been allocated for salary increases. This was announced in an interview with television channels regarding the results of the year and future plans by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the President's Administration Adylbek Kasymaliev.

Adylbek Kasymaliev noted that starting from 2024, salary increases will continue in the country.

“Salaries for teachers and doctors have increased by amounts ranging from 10% to 130%. This year, there has also been a salary increase for service personnel and employees of law enforcement agencies,” he added.

The head of the cabinet emphasized that this year an additional approximately 18 billion soms have been allocated for these purposes.

Furthermore, Kasymaliev noted that ten years ago, the budget volume was 115 billion soms, while today, expenditures on salaries have reached 130 billion soms.

“When I served as Minister of Finance from 2015 to 2018, in 2015 the republican budget volume was 115 billion soms. And today, the wage fund in the budget structure is already 130 billion soms,” he concluded.
