
At a joint meeting of the committees of the Jogorku Kenesh, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, announced plans for the consolidated budget for 2026, which is projected to exceed 843 billion soms.
According to Kasymaliev, the government aims for the total budget to exceed 1 trillion soms by 2026.
According to the presented data, budget revenues are expected to amount to 551.2 billion soms, while expenditures are projected at 550.8 billion soms. As a result, the authorities anticipate that 2026 will end with a surplus of over 400 million soms.
Tax revenues in the budget structure are planned at 460.8 billion soms, of which the State Tax Service will be tasked with collecting 318.2 billion soms, and the Customs Service will collect 142.6 billion soms.
About 230 billion soms from the consolidated budget will be allocated for social needs, while over 183 billion will be directed towards the development of the real sector of the economy.
Among the planned capital investments, 27.7 billion soms are allocated, as well as more than 17 billion for infrastructure projects, including the construction of the Barskoon—Bedel road.
Additionally, Kasymaliev noted that by the end of 2025, Kyrgyzstan's gross domestic product grew by 10.8 percent, which is the best indicator among the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union. He expressed confidence that the government will be able to maintain similar economic growth rates in 2026.
