In Kyrgyzstan, pensions are increased annually starting from October 1, and they cannot be lower than the established minimum subsistence level. Currently, this minimum is set at 7,100 soms. This statement was made by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, during a joint meeting of the committees of the Jogorku Kenesh.
Kasymaliev also reported that next year, efforts will be actively made to address the increase in the income part of the Social Fund, which will allow for a significant increase in pension amounts.
The Minister of the Social Fund, Bakhtiyar Aliyev, added that in the first half of next year, it will be revealed how much exactly pensions will increase, based on the receipts from insurance contributions.
