During a joint meeting of the committees of the Jogorku Kenesh dedicated to the first reading of the draft law on the republican budget for 2026 and the planned period of 2027-2028, Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev announced the key financial indicators. It is expected that the budget revenues in 2026 will amount to 551.2 billion soms, while expenditures are estimated at 550.7 billion soms, resulting in a surplus of 400 million soms.
As noted by Kasymaliev, the largest portion of expenditures will be directed to the social sphere – 230.9 billion soms, which is 42.8 billion soms more compared to 2025.
The budget for the real sector of the economy will be 182.2 billion soms, including capital investments of 27.7 billion soms. Of this amount, 17.7 billion soms will be allocated for the construction of the road to the Barsoon-Bedel border checkpoint, and this amount is likely to increase over the year. In 2024-2025, new parks, stadiums, roads, and multi-story buildings will be constructed in the country, leading to urban growth in height.
