Starting from February 11, 2026, mandatory tracking of the transportation of alcoholic and tobacco products using navigation seals will be implemented in the Eurasian Economic Union. As part of the preparation for this innovation, the State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan held an explanatory meeting with businesses.
The new rules will affect both the export and import of goods transported by road and rail. The main goal of the system is to ensure the safety of cargo and the accuracy of their declaration.
The tax service notes that the use of electronic seals will allow:
to speed up the passage through state borders;
to reduce the administrative burden on honest businesses;
to minimize the risks of smuggling excise goods.
A series of training events will be held for entrepreneurs and tax service employees to ensure a smooth transition to the digital tracking system.
