Starting February 11, 2026, within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), tracking of goods transported across the territory of several member countries will be carried out using navigation seals. This information was announced by the State Customs Service of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In accordance with the "Agreement on the Use of Navigation Seals for Tracking Shipments," signed on April 19, 2022, the State Customs Infrastructure JSC has been designated as the national operator for tracking in the Kyrgyz Republic. The monitoring and analysis center of this operator will continuously track the movement of goods using an information system and navigation seals, which will be applied to the locking devices of cargo compartments. This will ensure control over the routes of vehicles and prompt response to any emergencies that arise.
The process of applying the navigation seal by the operator will take no more than 15 minutes.
From February 11, 2026, mandatory tracking will apply to the transportation of tobacco and alcoholic products, as well as a number of goods specified in the regulations of the Eurasian Economic Commission. In the future, it is planned to gradually implement navigation seals for all goods transported within mutual trade and customs procedures in the EAEU.
The introduction of navigation seals aims to enhance the transparency of cargo transportation processes, reduce control procedures, and decrease delivery times for goods transported by road and rail.
Additional information for participants in foreign economic activity can be found on the official websites of the State Customs Service and the State Customs Infrastructure JSC. Consultations are also available through the national operator's call center at the unified number: 1205.
