By no later than February 1, 2026, a pilot project will be launched for the use of navigation seals for the transportation of timber from Russia to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
Within the framework of this project, the following types of timber will be covered:
• unprocessed and rough-edged timber - HS code 4403 (excluding 4403 11 000, 4403 12 000 1, 4403 12 000 2, 4403 12 000 3, 4403 21, 4403 22, 4403 23, 4403 24, 4403 25, 4403 26 000 0, 4403 94 000 0, 4403 99 000 1)
• wood used in barrel production, split logs, piles, posts, and timber for making tool handles, umbrellas, and canes - HS code 4404
• wooden sleepers for railway and tram tracks - HS code 4406
• timber obtained by longitudinal sawing or splitting and having a thickness of more than 6 millimeters - HS code 4407
