According to the document, the restriction applies to timber and products classified under the EAEU HS codes 4401, 4403, and 4407. The ban will be in effect for six months, starting from a date that will occur three days after its official entry into force. The only exception will be humanitarian aid as determined by the government.

The Ministry of Economy and Commerce has been instructed to notify the World Trade Organization and the Eurasian Economic Commission about the introduction of these temporary restrictions. In turn, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will inform the Executive Committee of the CIS.
Additionally, the Customs Service and the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security have been tasked with taking necessary measures to prevent the illegal export of timber.
The previous decree of the Cabinet from May 28, 2025, which imposed a similar ban, has also been revoked.
