In our country, radio broadcasting first went on air 94 years ago, while the first television broadcasts started 67 years ago. The idea of celebrating this day was adopted 30 years ago.
Television and radio have become essential elements of public life in a relatively short time. Workers in this industry interact with citizens as if they were family, reaching out to them through the airwaves and providing support.
Today, we are witnessing rapid development in information technology and the expansion of opportunities for information exchange. In these conditions, the role of mass media is increasing, as they become the main tool for shaping public opinion, promoting spiritual and national values, and ensuring transparency in government policy.
Television and radio broadcasting employees make a significant contribution to strengthening the unity of the state, maintaining civil peace and harmony, as well as providing the population with reliable and objective information.
In recent years, significant achievements have been made: the material and technical base has been improved, equipment has been updated, and now viewers and listeners can enjoy high-quality programs. Progress is also noted in covering world news, political events, sports activities, and other programs in the state language.
I am confident that you continue to demonstrate a high level of professionalism, responsibility, and a creative approach in your work. You have all the necessary resources for quality coverage of the National Development Program of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2030, preparations for the World Nomad Games in 2026, as well as the revived Issyk-Kul International Forum founded by Chinghiz Aitmatov, and other significant events in our country.
