Kasymaliev emphasized that the 2026 budget is focused on sustainable economic development and improving the living standards of citizens. He also noted that the key priority remains the social sector, for which 230.9 billion soms are allocated for education, healthcare, and social protection.

The head of the government added that significant changes are expected in the country over the next five years.
According to him, the state continues to implement major strategic infrastructure projects outlined in the National Development Program until 2030. Important projects include the construction of the Kambarata HPP-1 and the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway, which will contribute to strengthening the country's energy and transport security.

Kasymaliev also reported that in 2025, the consolidated budget of Kyrgyzstan amounted to 1 trillion 93 billion soms, which is a historical achievement, as this milestone was reached two years earlier than planned due to consistent economic and fiscal policies.

He noted that in 2025, significant budget funds were directed towards strategically important areas, such as the capitalization of "Eldik Bank" and energy companies, as well as the construction of the aforementioned railway and HPP. The volume of capital investments increased more than fivefold, reaching 51.7 billion soms compared to the previous 10 billion soms.
