Donald Trump, the President of the United States, announced the termination of all trade negotiations with Canada. This was reported by The New York Times.

On his page on Truth Social, he stated that this decision was made due to "fraud" related to an advertisement using the AI voice of Ronald Reagan criticizing tariffs.

"Tariffs are extremely important for national security and the economy of the United States. Due to Canada's unacceptable behavior, all negotiations have been terminated," Trump emphasized.

The advertising campaign was developed by the Ontario government and cost $75 million. It features statements from Reagan about the negative impact of tariffs on the economy.

So far, Canadian authorities have not responded to Trump's statement. Experts express concerns that this move could negatively affect the economies of both countries and complicate future discussions on free trade issues.
