The Cabinet extended the six-month ban on the export of timber and wood materials from the Kyrgyz Republic outside the EAEU.

- In accordance with the resolution adopted on December 24, 2025, under number 828, the Cabinet of Ministers introduces a temporary moratorium for a period of 6 months on the export of timber and wood materials from the Kyrgyz Republic beyond the customs zone of the Eurasian Economic Union.

This restriction applies to products classified under codes 4401, 4403, and 4407 of the EAEU Customs Tariff. Exceptions are made for cases where these products are used for humanitarian aid provided by the Cabinet of Ministers.

The resolution will come into effect 15 days after its official publication;

The export ban will take effect 3 days after the resolution becomes valid.

Thus, the actual start date of the ban is scheduled for the 18th day after its publication.

Note 

It is worth noting that earlier the Cabinet of Ministers also imposed restrictions on the export of timber and wood materials beyond the customs zone of the Eurasian Economic Union, which was reflected in the resolution dated May 28 under number 283.
