According to this document, the restrictions will be in effect for six months. The ban covers not only electronic cigarettes but also nicotine delivery systems with liquid, as well as nicotine-containing liquids in cartridges, tanks, and other containers, designated by the code TN VED EAEU 2404 12 000 0.
This decision is motivated by the need to implement a law aimed at protecting the health of citizens from the negative consequences of tobacco and nicotine consumption, as well as from exposure to tobacco smoke and aerosols.
In addition, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce has been instructed to notify the World Trade Organization and the Eurasian Economic Commission about the introduction of this temporary ban. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will also inform the Executive Committee of the CIS.
The Customs Service, together with the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security, must take measures to prevent the illegal import of this product.
The previous resolution of the cabinet, adopted on July 2, 2025, which imposed a similar ban, has also been declared invalid.
The new document will come into effect in 15 days.
