
The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic has imposed a temporary ban on coal exports for a period of six months. The corresponding decree was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the KR, Adylbek Kasymaliev.
According to the government press service, this decision concerns coal classified under codes 2701 and 2702 of the EAEU Customs Nomenclature and prohibits its export from the country by road transport. Exceptions are the road checkpoints "Irkeshtam-automobile" and "Torugart-automobile".
In accordance with the new decree, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the State Customs Service, and the Border Service have been instructed to take all necessary measures.
The decree will come into effect three days after its official publication.
