As part of the Days of Russian Culture in Kyrgyzstan, a meeting took place.


During the event, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, awarded the film director Nikita Mikhalkov with the Order of "Dostuk". This was reported by the press service of the government.

The working meeting, which was also attended by the Minister of Culture of Russia, Olga Lyubimova, concluded with the presentation of this state distinction of the Kyrgyz Republic to the outstanding Russian filmmaker.

Adylbek Kasymaliev, welcoming those present, noted that the Days of Culture play an important role in strengthening the historical ties between Kyrgyzstan and Russia. In his address, he also congratulated Nikita Mikhalkov on his 80th birthday, emphasizing his enormous contribution to the development of world cinema. The head of the Cabinet of Ministers wished the birthday celebrant health, energy, and success in his future creative projects aimed at developing culture and strengthening friendly relations between the two countries.
