Special raids will begin on February 1, aimed at identifying taxi drivers operating without the required licenses.
“In this regard, every taxi driver is required to obtain a license in advance so that their activities comply with the law. Adhering to legal norms is important for ensuring passenger safety and order on the roads,” the UPSM added.
Previously, the deadlines for mandatory licensing of taxi drivers were postponed from December 1, 2025, to February 1, 2026.
