The patrol service of the police has urged taxi drivers to obtain licenses for their activities by February 1, 2026. This is important for legalizing their work and increasing safety on the roads.

Starting from February 1, the employees of the UPSM will begin conducting raids aimed at identifying drivers transporting passengers without the necessary licenses. Legal measures will be taken against violators.

The agency noted that each driver must obtain licensing in advance to meet the established requirements. This condition is key to ensuring passenger safety on the road.

To obtain a license for passenger transportation by cars (taxis) intended for intercity trips (more than 60 kilometers), as well as for urban and suburban trips (no more than 60 kilometers), a specific set of documents must be provided.

For legal entities:



The transportation license is valid for one calendar year.

For licensing taxis with no more than four passenger seats (excluding the driver's seat), a specific set of documents must also be provided.
