He instructed the Department for Combating Crime under the City Department of Internal Affairs to intensify actions against taxi drivers engaged in illegal passenger transportation and to organize corresponding raids.
The mayor noted that legal taxi drivers providing intercity transportation through the temporary bus station will receive licenses on a priority basis. At the same time, the mayor's office strongly recommends not issuing licenses to drivers who continue to engage in illegal activities.
