Changes to the rules governing passenger transportation by cars have been made by the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan. This step is aimed at creating the necessary conditions for taxi drivers to obtain licenses.
According to the new amendment, the deadline for the mandatory licensing requirements is postponed from December 1, 2025, to February 1, 2026.
The change concerns item 194 of the current rules for organizing passenger transportation.
This resolution has already come into effect as of December 1 of this year and will be officially published.
