The patrol service of the police draws the attention of drivers engaged in passenger transportation to the necessity of preparing and providing all required documents for obtaining a license. The deadline for submitting documents is set for December 1, as reported by the UPSM.
According to information from the UPSM, the following set of documents is required to obtain a license:
- A copy of the identity card.
- A notarized copy of the registration certificate from the State Tax Service
(for drivers working through taxi systems, a certificate of the presence or absence of debts is required). - A document confirming the payment of the licensing fee.
- A contract for mandatory civil liability insurance for carriers.
- A copy of the employment contract with a legal entity or a fleet that meets the safety requirements for transportation.
- A certificate of vehicle registration.
- A power of attorney or a vehicle rental agreement.
- A report on the completion of a technical inspection.
- A driver's license of category with at least three years of experience.
- A medical certificate.
- A certificate of no criminal record.
The department also noted that a license will not be issued to individuals with convictions for serious and less serious crimes.
Additionally, the UPSM emphasized that transporting passengers requires special responsibility, and compliance with established requirements is critically important for ensuring the safety of citizens and the legality of taxi operations.
