The deadline for checking taxi licenses has been postponed to February 1, 2026. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate for Road Safety (GUOBDD), which conveyed the information to the "Kabar" agency.

It turned out that taxi drivers had repeatedly complained about long queues at GUOBDD departments, which hindered them from obtaining licenses in a timely manner.

In response to these complaints, the head of the Main Directorate for Road Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Colonel of Police Azenbek Kozukeev, held a meeting with drivers who are processing their licenses. He gave instructions to eliminate the queue problems and improve the conditions for obtaining documents.

Kozukeev added that work would continue even on Saturdays, and the lunch break would be shortened to increase efficiency. It is important to note that the deadline for imposing fines for the absence of licenses and conducting raids has also been extended to February 1, 2026.

In addition, he assured that drivers using the taxi ordering information system would not face blockages until the specified date.

Issuance of licenses for taxis continues in all GUOBDD departments across the country.
