Freight transportation rates by railway will increase from February 1
According to information provided by the state enterprise, this decision was made based on an order from the ministry issued on December 5, 2025.
According to this document, the tariff policy for railways in the CIS countries concerning international freight transportation will be in effect on the Kyrgyz railway for the freight year 2026, starting from January 1 and ending on December 31.
It is also reported that the current tariff guidelines for freight railway transportation within export, import, transit, and domestic services, approved by the order of the Ministry of Transport on December 17, 2024, will be extended until January 31, 2026, inclusive.
Thus, the new tariffs will come into effect on February 1, 2026.
