According to information provided by the ministry's press service, 1,430 kilometers of asphalt were laid during the reporting period, exceeding the planned work volumes. The continuation of construction will depend on weather conditions.
The priority remains the reconstruction of key strategic and local roads, as well as international transport corridors, 80% of the funding for which is provided by the state budget.
The Ministry of Transport noted that in 2021, 175 kilometers were paved, in 2022 — 488 kilometers, in 2023 — 673 kilometers, and in 2024 — 802 kilometers.
It is expected that by the end of the current year, a new record will be set.
