Record in Road Construction: Kyrgyzstan Asphalted 1430 km of Roads in 2025
The Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced the achievement of a new record in road repairs.
As of November 20, 2025, 1430 kilometers of roads have been paved in the country, significantly exceeding the planned volumes for this year. Work continues depending on weather conditions.
The priority remains the repair of strategically important, state, and local roads, as well as sections of international transport corridors. Almost 80% of the funding comes from the republican budget, highlighting the importance of road infrastructure for the state.
The annual dynamics are as follows:
- 2021 — 175 km
- 2022 — 488 km
- 2023 — 673 km
- 2024 — 802 km
- 2025 — 1430 km
"Such a pace of work makes 2025 the most successful year in the history of road construction in Kyrgyzstan, and by the end of the year, this figure may increase," the official statement notes.
