The difference between the market price of tickets and the new tariffs will be financed from the Stabilization Fund, which will help avoid sharp price increases for tickets in the last hours before departure, as has happened in the past.
This initiative is part of the development strategy of the State Enterprise "Airports of Kyrgyzstan" and the airline "Asman Airlines," aimed at improving the mobility of citizens, strengthening connections between regions, and ensuring equal access to transportation services across the country. Subsidies from the Stabilization Fund will allow for the expansion of the network of domestic flights with stable and socially-oriented tariffs.
The statement emphasizes that the program is exclusively social in nature and aimed at assisting the citizens of Kyrgyzstan. Previously, the price for domestic flights was determined by market principles, depending on the season, demand, and flight occupancy. This made air travel inaccessible for a significant part of the population, especially for residents of remote areas.

Reduced tariffs for domestic flights will be in effect in Kyrgyzstan in 2026.
This presidential decision is aimed at improving transportation accessibility for regions, supporting domestic tourism, promoting the development of small and medium-sized businesses, and creating more comfortable conditions for citizens' movement.
Additionally, it is reported that flights to Naryn, Talas, and Kazarman, which were previously operated once a week, will be conducted twice a week starting from January 4.
