In his congratulatory message, Adylbek Kasymaliev emphasized the importance of protecting mountain nature and the need for joint efforts to safeguard it. This was reported in a press release from the government office.

He highlighted that mountainous regions are particularly acutely feeling the consequences of climate change. Among the main challenges, he pointed out the rapid melting of glaciers, the reduction of snow cover, as well as the increase in landslides, avalanches, and floods. These phenomena, he said, require decisive measures to adapt to climate changes and enhance the resilience of mountain ecosystems and local communities.

Kasymaliev also mentioned the implementation of the Decade of Action for the Development of Mountain Regions for 2023–2027, which became possible thanks to the initiative of President Sadyr Japarov and the resolution of the UN General Assembly. Kyrgyzstan actively promotes mountain development issues on the international stage and strengthens cooperation in this area.

He outlined a number of national measures aimed at improving living conditions in high-altitude areas, including infrastructure development, road modernization, digitization of public services, support for tourism and agriculture, as well as the development of a green economy and energy.

Kasymaliev called on citizens and international partners to actively participate in the sustainable development of mountains: to protect local flora and fauna, promote environmental awareness, implement innovations, and strengthen international cooperation. The importance of preserving traditional knowledge and harmony with nature was also emphasized by him.

In conclusion, the chairman of the cabinet expressed hope that the mountains will continue to inspire people, remaining a symbol of peace, harmony, and a sustainable future.
