At a working breakfast held in Bishkek, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, met with Bundestag deputies representing the Friendship Group "Germany - Central Asia." The press service of the cabinet reported on the significance of this event for strengthening Kyrgyz-German ties.

Kasymaliev emphasized that Kyrgyzstan views Germany as one of its main partners in the European Union and places great importance on the development of bilateral relations. He noted that thanks to the summits "Central Asia + Germany," cooperation has reached a new level.

Discussing the economic situation, the head of the cabinet noted that in the last three years, the average annual GDP growth of the country has been about 9 percent, which is one of the highest indicators in the region, and Kyrgyzstan is currently undergoing a modernization phase of its economy.

He also noted that more favorable conditions for investors are being created in the country through the simplification of administrative procedures, modernization of tax legislation, and implementation of digital services.

The parties outlined several priority areas for further cooperation:
During the discussion, attention was also focused on inter-parliamentary partnership. Adylbek Kasymaliev mentioned the importance of the Friendship Group of the Bundestag's visits to Bishkek in 2023 and 2024 for strengthening trust-based relations.

At the end of the meeting, the participants expressed their readiness to expand exchanges, discuss reforms, and strengthen cooperation in all aspects of bilateral relations.
