During the meeting, important issues of cooperation within the SCO were discussed. Special attention was paid to the preparation for the SCO summit, which will take place in Bishkek in 2026 in connection with Kyrgyzstan's chairmanship in the organization, as well as the anniversary events marking the 25th anniversary of the SCO.
Adylbek Kasymaliev emphasized the significance of a number of initiatives from the Kyrgyz Republic aimed at developing financial cooperation within the SCO.
The Secretary-General, Nurlan Ermekbaev, in turn, noted Kyrgyzstan's active position in the organization and expressed the readiness of the SCO Secretariat to provide full support in the preparation and conduct of events planned during Kyrgyzstan's chairmanship.
