The 26th meeting of the Intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Russian Commission on trade, economic, scientific, technical, and humanitarian cooperation took place at the Ala-Archa residence. The event was attended by the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, who warmly welcomed the delegation of the Russian Federation, headed by Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk. This meeting is of particular significance as it occurs in the year marking the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Eternal Friendship and Partnership between the two countries.
“The strong ties between our countries are becoming increasingly solid due to the sincere desire of the leaders to develop Kyrgyz-Russian relations. Russia has established itself as a reliable ally and strategic partner of Kyrgyzstan. We constantly emphasize that there are centuries-old ties of friendship, cultural and spiritual closeness, as well as good neighborliness and mutual respect between our peoples. The main task of our governments remains the timely implementation of all agreements reached during our leaders' meetings,” noted Kasymaliev.
