The meeting was attended by the Minister of Transport and Communications of Kyrgyzstan, Apsatar Syrgabaev, the Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan, Ilkhom Makhkamov, and special representatives from China. The participants noted that the project is moving into the practical construction phase.
Minister Apsatar Syrgabaev emphasized the need to complete the project within the established timeframe and expressed the Kyrgyz side's readiness to provide all necessary assistance to expedite construction work.
According to representatives of "Kyrgyz Temir Zholu," the implementation of this project will create new opportunities for both Kyrgyzstan and the entire region, reduce cargo transportation time, increase transit potential, create new jobs, and strengthen economic ties between the countries.
