Daiyrbek Orunbekov, head of the president's information policy service, commented on the recent conflict that occurred at a construction site between citizens of Kyrgyzstan and China. He clarified that the cause of the incident was an ordinary quarrel on the road between truck drivers.

According to him, law enforcement agencies have already identified all participants in the conflict, including Chinese citizens, and are currently conducting an investigation.

Orunbekov also noted that some provocateurs are using this case to spread false information and incite interethnic hatred, claiming that "the Chinese have flooded the country and started beating us."

He added: "Conflicts between people are a natural phenomenon that does not depend on nationality. Our compatriots abroad also face similar domestic disputes. One should not succumb to provocations."

Furthermore, he reported that active construction is underway in Kyrgyzstan, and temporary workers from China are being attracted due to a shortage of local personnel. In particular, Chinese specialists are working on the railway project connecting China, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan, as this project utilizes Chinese technologies and requires professional staff.

Orunbekov emphasized that foreign citizens are in the country under strict visa regulations and are required to leave Kyrgyzstan upon the expiration of their visas.

Speaking about the railway project, he called it important for the country's future. According to him, after its completion, Kyrgyzstan will be able to receive over $500 million annually, which is comparable to the revenues from Kumtor, but the railway will provide a constant and stable income, unlike depleting resources.

In his opinion, the implementation of this project will allow Kyrgyzstan to access international markets and sea routes, reducing dependence on road transport.
