In Kyrgyzstan, restrictions on the export of timber outside the EAEU have been extended for six months.
The resolution of the Government of Kyrgyzstan prohibiting the export of timber and wood materials beyond the Eurasian Economic Union has come into effect.
This measure is temporary and will be in effect for six months.
The ban covers the following categories of goods with the corresponding HS codes:
• 4401 - fuel wood, wood chips, shavings, sawdust, and wood waste, including briquettes, pellets, and pallets
• 4403 - unprocessed wood materials, both with and without bark, as well as logs and poles, roughly processed or unprocessed
• 4407 - wood materials obtained by sawing or splitting, planing or peeling, both unprocessed and processed, with or without end joints, with a thickness of more than 6 mm
