GNS: Mandatory Use of Navigation Seals Will Begin on February 11
The Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service, Kubanychbek Ysabekov, noted that the purpose of the meeting was to clarify the norms and rules for the application of navigation seals within the framework of the EAEU.
He emphasized that the main task of navigation sealing is to ensure the safety and accuracy of declared goods. This is expected to simplify the border crossing process and reduce the burden on businesses.
During the discussion, experts from the State Tax Service and the national operator of the tracking system provided detailed information on the procedure for applying navigation seals. Participants representing the business community had the opportunity to ask their questions and receive answers.
Kubanychbek Ysabekov added that to provide methodological assistance and increase taxpayer awareness, training events are planned for State Tax Service employees regarding the innovations in the tracking system.
It should be noted that according to the EAEU agreement on navigation seals and the decision of the Eurasian Economic Commission, from February 11, a permanent tracking of the transportation of goods using navigation seals will be implemented in the territories of EAEU member countries.
This tracking will be applied to road and rail transport carrying alcoholic products, tobacco, and tobacco products.
