Export to Russia: New Requirements Explained to Kyrgyzstan's Tailors

A practical seminar was held at the Kyrgyz Ministry of Economy and Commerce, organized in collaboration with business associations. At the event, sewing companies received clarifications on issues related to taxation, accounting, certification, and labeling of goods, as reported by the ministry's press service.

Specialists from the State Tax Service provided information on tax regimes, requirements for accounting raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods, as well as the procedure for issuing electronic invoices (E-invoices) and freight transport invoices (E-FTI).
Tax officials emphasized that proper accounting and the use of electronic documents are key to entering export markets and effectively working with marketplaces.
Experts from the Bishkek Center for Standardization and Metrology (BCSM) provided detailed information on the requirements of the Technical Regulation of the EAEU 017/2011, the process of obtaining declarations and certificates of conformity, conducting laboratory tests, as well as the necessary documents for successful operation in the markets. They stressed that successfully passing certification procedures opens access to the markets of EAEU countries and enhances the export opportunities for organizations.

Additionally, seminar participants were provided with information about the "Honest Sign" labeling system. The main principles of this system, the procedure for obtaining and using codes, as well as data control mechanisms were discussed. Participants noted that the implementation of labeling contributes to increased transparency in trade, reduces the risks of illegal imports, and strengthens trust in export markets.

The Ministry of Economy emphasized that such training seminars will be held regularly.
