According to information provided by the Eurasian Development Bank, from January to November 2025, the inflow of remittances to Kyrgyzstan increased by 17.2%.

The main factor behind this growth was the inflow from Russia, which rose by 16.7%.

The strengthening of the ruble against the dollar, which amounted to 10.6% compared to the average level of 2024, also contributed to the increase in inflow in dollar terms. During 2024-2025, the exchange rate of the som to the dollar remained at approximately 87. As a result of the increase in remittances, there has been a growth in domestic demand, which amounted to 9.5% in January-November of the previous year, as noted in the report.
