
According to information provided by the National Bank, the banking sector of Kyrgyzstan continues to demonstrate significant growth in key indicators.
As of November 30, 2025, there are 21 commercial banks and 306 of their branches operating in the country.
Since the beginning of the current year, bank assets have increased by 44.9%, reaching a total of 1 trillion 181.8 billion soms.
The volume of the loan portfolio has grown by 43.6%, amounting to 489.3 billion soms.
In the Islamic financing segment, there is particularly significant growth: the volume of financing based on Islamic principles has doubled, reaching 18.1 billion soms.
Deposits have also shown a positive trend, increasing by 38.8% to 822.4 billion soms.
These positive changes in key indicators indicate an expansion of banking activities, an increase in trust from citizens and businesses, as well as active lending in the country's economy.
