Kyrgyz citizens received 256 million soms under the mandatory vehicle liability insurance (OSAGO). This information was announced by Marat Pirnazarov, chairman of the Financial Market Regulation and Supervision Service, on the air of Birinchi Radio.
He also specified that the highest number of payouts was related to voluntary types of insurance. Thus, in personal insurance, the total amount reached 165 million soms, while in property insurance, it amounted to 625 million soms.
In the field of mandatory housing insurance, the amount paid to citizens exceeded 28 million soms. Among all mandatory policies, OSAGO took the leading position in terms of payout volume — 256 million soms.
Marat Pirnazarov emphasized that the population of the country is increasingly recognizing the importance of insurance and its impact on the protection of property and social interests.
