The national currency of Kyrgyzstan attracted interest at the World Money Fair exhibition



From January 26 to February 1, 2026, the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan participated in the prestigious World Money Fair exhibition held in Berlin, Germany. This information was announced by representatives of the regulator.

The World Money Fair is the largest event in the world dedicated to coins, bringing together manufacturers, mints, national banks, numismatists, and technical specialists from all corners of the globe. Each year, the exhibition gathers around 300 participants from more than 50 countries.

The main task of the National Bank at this exhibition was to showcase and promote the rich history and culture of Kyrgyzstan through the lens of the national currency.

The National Bank's exhibition featured banknotes and collectible coins that illustrate the cultural and historical heritage of the country. In particular, among the exhibits, one could see series such as:

In total, more than thirty different exhibits were presented at the exhibition, including banknotes and collectible coins of the national currency.
