

From January 26 to February 1, 2026, the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan participated in the prestigious World Money Fair exhibition held in Berlin, Germany. This information was announced by representatives of the regulator.
The World Money Fair is the largest event in the world dedicated to coins, bringing together manufacturers, mints, national banks, numismatists, and technical specialists from all corners of the globe. Each year, the exhibition gathers around 300 participants from more than 50 countries.
The main task of the National Bank at this exhibition was to showcase and promote the rich history and culture of Kyrgyzstan through the lens of the national currency.
The National Bank's exhibition featured banknotes and collectible coins that illustrate the cultural and historical heritage of the country. In particular, among the exhibits, one could see series such as:
- "Historical Events";
- "The Era of the Kyrgyz Kaganate";
- "Monuments of History and Architecture of Kyrgyzstan";
- "Kyrgyz Customs and Rituals";
- "National Musical Instruments";
- "National Sports and Folk Games";
- "World Nomad Games";
- "Red Book of Kyrgyzstan".
According to representatives of the National Bank, Kyrgyz collectible coins and banknotes attracted significant interest among collectors, professionals in the field of numismatics, and visitors to the exhibition who are eager to familiarize themselves with these unique works.
