The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission has given the green light for the implementation of a financial support mechanism for cooperative projects in the agro-industrial complex (AIC) funded by the budget of the Eurasian Economic Union. This information was provided by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Previously, a similar approach was only applied in the industrial sector. Now, the expansion of this mechanism to the agro-industrial sector will create additional opportunities for the development of cooperation among the EAEU member states.
This initiative aims to support import substitution, improve the processing of agricultural products, and increase the export potential of the participating countries, including Kyrgyzstan.
Financial support for cooperative projects will contribute to strengthening production chains in the agro-industrial complex, expanding interstate cooperation, and producing competitive products with high added value.
