Previously, similar support measures were applied exclusively in the industrial sector. The expansion of this mechanism to agriculture creates new opportunities for cooperation among the member states of the union, including the Kyrgyz Republic.
This initiative aims to stimulate import substitution, develop the processing of agricultural products, and increase the export potential of EAEU countries. According to the ministry, the new approach will help strengthen production chains in the AIC and ensure the production of high value-added goods that will be competitive in the market.
EEC experts believe that this step will accelerate integration processes and contribute to the sustainable development of the agricultural sector.
