EEC Launches New Financial Support Mechanism

The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has decided to implement a new mechanism for financial support of cooperative projects in the agro-industrial complex (AIC) using the budget of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). This information was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Water Management and Agriculture.

Previously, a similar mechanism operated only in the industrial sector, and now its expansion to the agro-industrial sector will open new opportunities for cooperation among the EAEU member states.

This initiative aims to stimulate import substitution processes, develop the processing of agricultural products, and increase the export potential of EAEU member countries, including the Kyrgyz Republic.
Funding for cooperative projects will contribute to the formation of sustainable production chains in the AIC, deepen interstate cooperation, and create competitive products with high added value.

This decision is an important step towards the sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex and deepening integration within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union.
