Almambet Shykmamatov, the Chairman of the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, visited the city of Kahramanmaraş in Turkey at the invitation of the rector of the Kyrgyz-Turkish University "Manas," Alpaslan Jaylan.
During this trip, he familiarized himself with the jewelry sector of the region, which is known for its craftsmanship traditions, modern technologies, and production capacities. Kahramanmaraş is considered one of the main centers of jewelry production in Turkey.
A meeting was also held with representatives of the local jewelers' chamber, where prospects for cooperation, the training of qualified specialists, and the exchange of experience in the field of jewelry were discussed.
Shykmamatov emphasized that in partnership with the Kyrgyz-Turkish University "Manas," plans are underway to create a specialized faculty for training jewelry masters, which will contribute to the growth of this industry in Kyrgyzstan.
He expressed confidence that this cooperation will be an important step towards the development of the jewelry industry in the country.
According to him, this will improve product quality, create additional opportunities for local producers, expand the range, and increase competitiveness, which, in turn, will open new horizons for the export of Kyrgyz jewelry products and enhance the country's image on the international stage.
