At a recent meeting with the presidential envoy in the Chuy region, Azamat Osmonov, local business representatives discussed key aspects of the development of the agro-industrial complex, as well as issues related to the investment and industrial infrastructure of the region.

During the event, a panel session took place where entrepreneurs shared their thoughts on current issues of socio-economic development and the interaction of business with government structures.

The main report concerning the agro-industrial complex was presented by Turatbek Ukubaev, founder and CEO of Atalyk Group. In his speech, he emphasized that the stable development of the economy in the Chuy region depends on supporting processing industries, agriculture, and the tourism sector. He also highlighted key challenges such as growing competition with neighboring countries, the impact of climate change, and the need to enhance government support for local production.

Ukubaev noted that for successful development, it is important to maintain an open dialogue between authorities and business, especially when developing strategies for the growth of sectors and improving regulatory acts. Among the priority areas, he identified a cluster approach to the development of the agro-industrial complex, improving cooperation among farmers, increasing the efficiency of water resource use, and implementing modern agricultural technologies.

Ideas were also proposed for digitizing the interaction between businesses and government bodies, simplifying the procedures for coordinating and registering agricultural facilities, developing dual education, and transitioning to the procurement of domestic products.

Chyngyz Alkanov, owner of Alkanov Group and initiator of the construction of a logistics center in the Chuy region, discussed issues related to the investment climate and industrial infrastructure. He emphasized the high costs for investors due to the lack of pre-prepared engineering and utility infrastructure, including substations and treatment facilities.

In this regard, he proposed creating industrial and logistics clusters in the region with centralized infrastructure support, which would reduce the financial burden on investors and increase the region's attractiveness for investments. The issue of changing land use designations was also raised, requiring simplification of procedures and support for investors through a "single window" principle.

During the discussion, initiatives were also voiced for developing import substitution, creating conditions for the production of domestic materials for the agro-sector, promoting sports and eco-tourism, as well as implementing joint environmental projects by businesses.

As a result of the meeting, it was noted that all the proposals voiced would be collected and considered within the framework of further cooperation between government authorities and businesses in the Chuy region.
