The 14th meeting of the Council for Simplifying Trade Procedures (CSTP) was held in Bishkek, as reported by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The event gathered representatives from government structures, the business community, and international partners involved in development.
The agenda included the results of the implementation of the CSTP Plan for 2025–2027 for the year 2025, as well as discussions on strategic priorities and key areas of work for simplifying trade procedures in the country. Special attention was given to issues of digitalization, inter-agency cooperation, and regional interaction.
During the meeting, participants were presented with a video presentation demonstrating the implementation of the electronic queue system at the checkpoints of the Kyrgyz Republic, aimed at increasing transparency, reducing waiting times, and improving conditions for participants in foreign economic activity.
While discussing achievements and current issues in the field of simplifying trade procedures, various reports and presentations were made, including:
- a report from the State Customs Service on digitalization and simplification of trade procedures;
- a report from the Ministry of Transport and Communications on creating conditions for international road transport;
- information from the Ministry of Digital Development on the progress of implementing the Plan for Simplifying Trade Procedures for 2025–2027;
- a report from the Department of Chemicalization, Plant Protection, and Quarantine regarding phytosanitary control within the CSTP Plan for 2025;
- a report from the State Enterprise "Single Window Center" on the work done in the field of simplifying procedures for the year 2025.
