The 14th meeting of the Council for Simplifying Trade Procedures (CSTP) was held in Bishkek, as reported by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The event gathered representatives from government structures, the business community, and international partners involved in development.

The agenda included the results of the implementation of the CSTP Plan for 2025–2027 for the year 2025, as well as discussions on strategic priorities and key areas of work for simplifying trade procedures in the country. Special attention was given to issues of digitalization, inter-agency cooperation, and regional interaction.

During the meeting, participants were presented with a video presentation demonstrating the implementation of the electronic queue system at the checkpoints of the Kyrgyz Republic, aimed at increasing transparency, reducing waiting times, and improving conditions for participants in foreign economic activity.

The deputy project manager of GIZ also presented regional initiatives for simplifying trade procedures through the development of cooperation among national committees for simplifying trade procedures in Central Asia, including their implementation in the Kyrgyz Republic.
