Discussing the results of the past year, he noted that the Union successfully navigated this period, emphasizing that 2025 will be filled with significant events for the socio-economic progress of the member countries. Japarov mentioned the economic resilience of the Union, the development of cooperation, and the strengthening of the internal market.
"Economic cooperation within our Union is not just growing, but gaining momentum. Mutual trade is approaching the mark of 100 billion US dollars, which is not only a figure but also a reflection of the trust and mutual support of our countries," the president stated, pointing to the existing potential for increasing trade volumes.According to him, to achieve this goal, it is necessary to develop effective measures that would contribute to increasing the share of mutual trade in the total volume of trade operations.
Japarov emphasized that reducing barriers and costs makes the Union more resilient and competitive.
"It is important for member states to consider the need to create transparent, stable, and predictable conditions for trade when making decisions at their levels," he added.
Speaking about the dynamics of Kyrgyzstan's development, the president noted positive growth, with GDP increasing by 10.2% over the 11 months of the current year. This growth was recorded in sectors such as industry, construction, services, and agriculture.
Japarov also confirmed the importance of food and energy security as key elements of economic stability.
In this regard, he proposed developing specific measures to strengthen the agro-food sector, ensure the population has access to safe products, support farmers, and attract investments in modern technologies.
Discussing the prospects for the international activities of the EAEU in 2026, the President of Kyrgyzstan noted that this document will focus on stimulating economic growth, developing mutual trade, and infrastructure.
"We are consistently striving to expand the geography of partnerships and conclude free trade agreements, viewing this as an important tool for enhancing the competitiveness of the economies of EAEU countries," Japarov said, expressing confidence that businesses in the Union's countries will be able to take advantage of the new agreements with Mongolia, the UAE, Iran, and Indonesia, signed this year.In conclusion of his speech, the president noted that Kyrgyzstan supports the initiation of negotiations with Uzbekistan on an agreement for the exchange of information in the field of trade, which will contribute to deepening cooperation and increasing the transparency of trade procedures.
Sadyr Japarov also confirmed Kyrgyzstan's readiness for further Eurasian integration and constructive work within the Union.
