President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov stated that during his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin at "Yntymak Ordo," the main focus was on labor migration issues.
It is worth noting that the Russian president visited Kyrgyzstan on a state visit the day before. During the negotiations, topics of economic cooperation, trade, and future interaction were discussed, and several bilateral agreements were signed.
As Japarov noted, both sides confirmed their commitment to ensuring the legal presence of Kyrgyz citizens in Russia, as well as creating decent working conditions and social guarantees for them.
"We agreed to continue working through our competent ministries in this important area," added the President of Kyrgyzstan.
Japarov emphasized that cooperation on migration issues will develop within the framework of bilateral relations.
