President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, during an extended meeting at "Yntymak Ordo," confirmed that Russia remains a strategic ally and a reliable partner for Kyrgyzstan. "I am glad to welcome you to our country and grateful for your agreement to visit Kyrgyzstan on a state visit," he noted at the beginning of his speech. Japarov added that the visit confirms the strong ties between Kyrgyzstan and Russia, based on trust and mutual understanding, as well as joint efforts to strengthen allied relations.
The President emphasized that for many years the peoples of the two countries have supported each other, including during the Great Patriotic War, which laid the foundation for today's cooperation. "For Kyrgyzstan, Russia is not only a strategic ally but also a good friend, and we highly value our relationship," he stated.
Japarov also noted that despite the complex geopolitical conditions, Russia demonstrates resilience and adaptability. "This is a merit of your leadership qualities, Vladimir Vladimirovich," he said, emphasizing that the support from Russia is felt in the daily lives of Kyrgyz citizens, especially in the fields of energy and food. The consistency of Russian policy plays an important role in strengthening bilateral relations.
"We value our trusting relationship and observe the expansion of the bilateral agenda, which is being filled with new projects and initiatives," added the President of Kyrgyzstan.
Sadyr Japarov noted that Russia occupies a key position in trade and economic cooperation with Kyrgyzstan, and integration within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union opens new opportunities for joint work, innovation, and investment.
"Russian support in the development of infrastructure, energy, industry, and humanitarian initiatives is extremely important for us," he emphasizes.
This year, the number of Russian companies operating in Kyrgyzstan has increased to 1,800, which is three times more than in previous years. Special attention should be paid to cooperation in education, culture, and migration policy. Many citizens of Kyrgyzstan work in Russia, contributing to the economic development of both countries.
Russian educational institutions remain popular among the youth of Kyrgyzstan, and joint cultural projects strengthen friendly ties between the peoples and pass on values to future generations.
"We will discuss key issues and agree on further steps in our interaction," concluded Sadyr Japarov.
It is worth noting that on November 25, Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Kyrgyzstan for a state visit. During the visit, important issues concerning the further strengthening of strategic partnership will be discussed on November 26.
Signing of a number of bilateral documents is also planned.
