Today, November 20, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, met with the President of the Asian Development Bank, Masato Kanda, as reported by the press service of the head of state.
During the meeting, Japarov emphasized the importance of long-term cooperation with the ADB and the successful implementation of significant projects in key sectors of the country's economy.
Discussing the positive trends in the socio-economic development of Kyrgyzstan, he noted that conditions are being created in the republic for the realization of major infrastructure initiatives.
The president paid special attention to projects in the transport sector, which could make the country a "regional hub." He also highlighted the energy and agricultural sectors as priority areas for future cooperation.
Masato Kanda, for his part, assured that the Asian Development Bank is ready to support projects in the fields of green energy, agriculture, tourism, and transport infrastructure.
Moreover, he expressed confidence that the successful implementation of these projects and active cooperation with Kyrgyzstan will lead to an improvement in the living standards of the country's population.
